Israel is one of the countries that invests the most in the UK.

he UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) (abbreviated in English), published a report providing information on major foreign investments in the country.

The report reveals that Israel is a major asset for foreign investment projects in the UK: it is part of the top 20 European countries, according to the per capita assessment for the period 2023-2024.

Luxembourg, Ireland and Sweden top the per capita rankings, followed by Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Finland, Austria and Israel.

Without taking into account the per capita value, Israel ranks 13th, with a total of 19 investment projects in the country during 2023.

Simon Walters, UK Ambassador to Israel, said: “This achievement reflects the strong partnership between the UK and Israel. Despite regional challenges, both countries continue to work together to drive innovation and economic growth.”

“The UK remains committed to providing an enabling environment for Israeli businesses to grow and thrive, enhancing the significant potential of our shared economic partnership,” Walters added. “The UK remains a strong and welcoming destination for Israeli businesses looking to expand their global presence.”

The 19 Israeli companies that established or expanded their operations in the UK created a total of 532 new jobs in the fintech, healthcare and cybersecurity sectors.
