The process of collecting signatures for presidential candidates by free submission extends until July 31.

On May 5, 2024, Panamanians will decide on a ballot the new president and vice president of the country, 20 deputies in the Central American Parliament, and 71 deputies in the National Assembly.

By vote, they will also elect 81 mayors, 701 county representatives and 11 councillors, all with their alternates, for the period July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2029.
