Iranian President concludes his African tour in Zimbabwe

According to Al-Mayadeen news website, the two leaders will hold a dialogue behind closed doors, while the two accompanying delegations will discuss various aspects of bilateral relations.

Press reports indicate that immediately after Raisi’s arrival at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare, he received mixed expressions of affection and respect for his nation, from the representatives of the people who had come to the place.

And the visit of the Iranian president to Zimbabwe concludes his trip that led him to Kenya and Uganda.

In the first country, he held talks with Kenyan President William Ruto and oversaw the signing of five memorandums of understanding, in addition to exchanging ideas with Iranian and local businessmen and economic activists, as well as a tour of the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology.

In Uganda, they also concluded various agreements and met with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Raisi’s visit to Africa aims to enhance economic diplomacy, strengthen political relations with friendly and allied countries, and diversify export destinations.
