TEHRAN, April 14 – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed, Wednesday, that his country’s decision to enrich uranium to 60 percent is a response to the Israeli “nuclear terrorism” found in the attack on the Natanz plant, which Tehran attributed to Israeli services.
If the Zionists conspire against our nation, we will respond. Enriching uranium to 60 percent is the first step. “
In Rouhani’s view, the Tel Aviv regime wanted to leave the Persian nation empty-handed during the nuclear deal talks in Vienna, but “our hands are full.”
He said that they cannot commit a crime at the nuclear power plant in Natanz, and they expect us to do nothing; He indicated that we are responding to their evil.
We have cut hands, according to a Cabinet meeting, the President said, one by installing IR-6 centrifuges, the other by enriching 60 percent uranium.
The president described the sabotage to the Natanz station in the center of the country as nuclear terrorism, which is according to indications by the Israeli intelligence services (Mossad).
Rouhani stressed that this attack constitutes a plot to weaken Iran during negotiations at the headquarters of the International Atomic Energy Agency in an attempt to salvage the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (PIAC) or the nuclear deal.
In this regard, he stressed that if the United States lifted the anti-Iran punitive measures, Tehran would revert to its nuclear obligations as long as it verified the abolition of that policy.
In both cases, he added, all Iran’s nuclear activities are peaceful in nature and under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
For their part, the governments of France, Germany and the United Kingdom expressed their “grave concern” after the announcement by Iran, Telesur reported.
