According to the Iranian spokesman, the draft resolution prepared by the United Kingdom and other Western countries repeats the same false accusations based on biased and misleading information, and that the document is part of a Western campaign to “hate and smear Iran” against Iran.
He denounced that “these countries, which have a long history of flagrant violations of human rights, including through the sale of arms to authoritarian regimes, occupiers and aggressors, have made human rights a means to further their political ambitions.”
He stressed that these countries cannot speak from the position of the plaintiff, but must be held accountable for their crimes in the field of human rights.
