With the chance to win 100,000 pesos per category in a single, indivisible award, the call for the 2021 Chihuahua Prize “Vanguard of Arts and Sciences” is still open, calling for submissions in eight different disciplines: technological sciences, biological sciences, social sciences, and literature (essay), journalism, visual arts (infographics), music, and this year’s new: performing arts.
Until 4:00 PM on August 31, 2021, projects that interested parties can submit under pseudonyms will be received with the exception of the Journalism and Performing Arts categories.
The State Government, through the Department of Culture, organizes the Chihuahua Prize, which highlights that each work must contain an original contribution aimed at the creation, development and improvement of the above-mentioned areas.
Projects are received by e-mail: [email protected], or by USB at the offices of the Minister of Culture, located on the Avenida División del Norte, on the corner with Avenida Universidad de Chihuahua capital.
Among the requirements: age of majority, no previous award holder in the same major they are enrolled in, current address in the state of Chihuahua with verifiable residency of five years, and Chihuahuas by birth residing in another entity of the Mexican Republic or abroad.
