The Government of the State of Baja California Sur, through the Consejo Sudcaliforniano de Ciencia y Tecnología (COSCyT), invites children and young people, as well as the general public, to attend ExpoCiencias Sudcaliforniana 2023, in its municipal phase in La Paz, to be held on May 5, at the Escuela Normal Superior del Estado de Baja California Sur, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At ExpoCiencias Sudcaliforniana, 105 science, technology and innovation projects will be presented, covering different categories ranging from pre-school to university level.
Likewise, they will be grouped by knowledge areas, such as agriculture, exact and natural sciences, biology and environment, engineering sciences, medicine and health, materials sciences, mechatronics, computing and software, social and human sciences, and mainstream sciences.
“It is an opportunity to see what others are developing and seize ideas for the future. Baja California Sur is a powerhouse full of talents that have represented Mexico in different parts of the world. We hope to see now who will be the winner and who will represent us,” said Sara Diaz, Director of COSCYT.
The winning projects will have the opportunity to represent La Paz on the state stage, where the prizes are to represent Baja California Sur at the National Science Fair.
