According to the minister, the interim budget contains a series of announcements and strategies indicating directions and methods to make India a developed country by 2047.

He touched on the approach taken by the government in the past ten years, which he said integrates programs such as housing, electricity, bank accounts and financial services for all.

He said the government would pay utmost attention to making the eastern region and its people a powerful engine for India's growth.

He stressed that through the project to install solar panels in homes, one million families will be able to obtain up to 300 units of free electricity every month.

Sitharaman explained that the government will form a high-level committee to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the challenges arising from rapid population growth and demographic changes, with the aim of providing recommendations to address these challenges comprehensively.
