.- The Institute of Sport and Physical Culture of Baja California (INDE BC) is part of the 37th World Congress of Sports Medicine, being held in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

INDE BC’s Managing Director, Lourdes Cañez Martínez, along with Doctors Miriam Valdés Chapotín and Carlos Moisés Jiménez attended the major global event that brought together representatives from 47 countries from Oceania, Asia and America.

The World Congress of Sports Medicine will bring together 183 expert speakers in Sports Medicine and Applied Sports in Sports, who will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge for four days at the “Pearl of the West”.

Conference participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in sports psychology, sports nutrition, biochemistry, sports physiology, doping and anti-doping, sports physical therapy, exercise-related injuries and sports chiropractic.

Other topics to be developed at the global conference will be genetics, molecular biology and sports, physical preparation and rehabilitation, sports supplementation, and the use of technology for injury prevention in sports and treatment of injuries in Paralympic athletes. Various workshops will also be held.
