Humanities, Technology, and Innovation Act Initiative Submitted to Congressional Committee

The Science and Technology Committee of the 61st Legislature presented the Humanities, Science, Technology and Innovation Law Initiative of the State of Puebla, An order consisting of six titles and a total of 90 articles, in addition to transitional provisions.

During the presentation of the initiative, the President of the Collective Authority, Patricia Valencia Ávila, explained that the members of the Commission made different proposals and contributions to the development of this new regulation, which will allow the legislation to be updated.

The representative explained that this order is derived from the decree published on May 8, 2023 in the Official Gazette of the Union. Through it, the General Law of Humanities, Science, Technology and Innovation is issued, where it is indicated in the eighth transitional phase that state legislatures must adapt and harmonize their regulatory frameworks.

Deputies Patricia Valencia Ávila, Norma Reyes Cabrera and Lidia Ocaña Madrid, as well as Deputies Roberto Bautista Lozano, Carlos Evangelista Aniceto and Gerardo Hernández Rojas, highlighted the joint work to implement this initiative, Which will be presented to the general session in the next regular session, in addition to approving other agreements during the legislative session.
