As the saying (and song by José José) goes, “what's past is past.” We're days away from closing in 2023, and there's no need to beat yourself up over things you could have done but didn't. On the contrary, it is the perfect time to erase everything that came before, and start the new year with a blank slate.
Coach Melissa Zambrano suggests five things you should do to close out 2023 and start 2024 completely renewed:
1. Balance without reproach
Evaluate the goals that were achieved and analyze the mistakes that prevented them from being achieved and those that were not achieved.
2. Think about next year, but with a calm head
What real goals do you plan to achieve next year? Ask yourself this question and be honest.
3. The house is in order, and the mind is in order
Organize your closet and donate the clothes you don't wear. Unused clothes or items prevent prosperity from your life.
4. New year, new color
If it's within your means, change the color of your bedroom and living room. Like you, I hope your home starts the new year looking different.
5. How are we doing with mental health?
Start a physical activity that will help you exercise and release happy hormones as well. This time, prioritize your mental health. it is time!

It is true that dreams exist and come true, but even to achieve those dreams you must have a calm mind. The problem with wanting to achieve unrealistic goals is that achieving them is more difficult, which causes frustration and hesitation in achieving other goals you have in mind. It's okay to be a dreamer, but when setting goals you should be as realistic as possible and think wisely.
