As the report notes, by 2023 travelers will choose hotels that offer:
Mindful eating: 32% of global travelers prioritize locally sourced food and beverages, which will lead them to immersive culinary experiences.
• Opportunities to connect with the local culture: 49% of travelers will seek to engage in meaningful activities to immerse themselves in diverse cultures.
Time to disconnect: Nearly half (49%) of working respondents will travel globally to disconnect from their work routine.

Helipad for cycling with fireworks and Adidas trainers
Hilton Mexico City Reforma is now home to a new cycling experience called “Ride in the Sky”. This activity is enjoyed at the top of the helipad, in the middle of a 360-degree view of Mexico City. With six events scheduled for this year, the second and final event began with a 5K race led by Adidas trainers through the historic center, followed by a stroll around the helipad and finished with a 30-minute spa treatment. Upcoming events will take place in May, August, November and December.
The new salt room in Arizona
Sol Garden is the new outdoor relaxation space at Tierra Luna Spa at the Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria resort. Sol Garden opens guests’ senses to the spirit of the desert, with a variety of mindful rituals and healing journeys, from wrapping in mud and alchemical crystals to a singing meditation bowl. The revamped spa now features a state-of-the-art salt room, stocked with pure Himalayan salt to boost immunity, improve mood, and revitalize skin.
Mercury Retrograde rituals in Aruba
Recently launched, the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Retrograde Ritual is a guide for guests to find their “inner chi” among the sounds of the beach and crystal bowls. The combination of mindfulness meditation and sound healing invites a sense of grounded, centered calm to cross the retro season. This experience is available when Mercury is in retrograde (3-4 times a year). The next activation will be on April 21 and 28.
Astrology Synastry in Hawaii
Grand Wailea Resort, A Waldorf Astoria presents a new astrology synastry session known as The Alchemy of Relationship Astrology. During this session, two guests will have a joint reading with the resort’s resident astrologer and explore synth and compound charts, signs, moods, adjectives and elements to explore tapping into their relationship.
Shamans and Mayan Healing in Mexico
Inspired by the Tree of Life’s connection to Mayan culture, the spa at the newly opened Waldorf Astoria Cancun uses fresh herbs from their garden, healing stones, and the participation of local shamans. The shamans of the Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya perform ancient rituals that include purification of gratitude and sacred ceremonies in cenotes. In addition, it offers a multi-step “Kinich Ahau Journey” that pays tribute to the sun god for strength and light.
Wave tables and recovery cabanas in Los Angeles
The recently opened Spa at Conrad Los Angeles redefines the art of relaxation with a new concept of timeless luxury. Featuring advanced skin care technologies, a Welnamis electric spa table that offers benefits for meditation and deep relaxation, a lighting room, a recovery cabin to increase or decrease energy with wellness treatments and much more.
Beverly hills rooftop exercises
Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills invites its guests to discover new wellness exercises. The workouts include a variety of exercises, and are held every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on the hotel’s Rooftop Promenade, which overlooks the beautiful Beverly Hills skyline. The activity is led by trainer Jay Jordan, who combines the benefits of aerobic exercise and high-intensity exercise into a 45- to 60-minute session.
F45 Training at Hilton Austin
F45 Training Hilton Downtown Austin is an exclusive downtown Austin studio for fitness enthusiasts. Austinites and travelers alike will now have the opportunity to maintain their fitness goals with coach-led group workouts.
