Prince Harry has been accused of “wanting to go back to the UK” and disgruntled royals fans told him to “stay away” after the Duke said his home was in the US “for now”.

The Duke of Sussex made the comment during a Today talk show while attending this week’s Invictus Games in The Hague, Netherlands.

Harry said, “My home is now, right now, in the States. And that really feels that way too.”

“We were welcomed with open arms and we have a wonderful community in Santa Barbara.”

Royal fans have been reading the Duke’s comments and claim they show Harry and Meghan’s desire to return to the UK.

One fan wrote: “It’s so obvious they want to come back that they can’t do it in America without the royal ties that everyone looked at with disdain from celebrities to the President.

“They probably expect the Queen to make another statement that she wants the Sussex family back into the company.

Royal fans have spoken out against the couple’s return to the UK full time, saying “the UK doesn’t want them”.

“Both of you should stay away from the UK,” said one disgruntled fan.

The couple secretly traveled to the United Kingdom to have a face-to-face meeting with the king on Thursday after they turned down Prince Philip’s memorial service last month.

The couple also managed to catch up with Prince Charles, on a visit that shocked onlookers outside Windsor Castle, as well as royal aides, who were said to be in the dark like everyone else.

This is the first time Meghan has set foot in the UK in two years, since she and husband Harry dramatically stepped down as members of the royal family.

Representatives of the Duke of Sussex have been contacted for comment.
