The next leg of Governor Bordet’s European tour will be in Berlin, Germany, where he will participate in an international exhibition.
Entre Ríos Governor Gustavo Bordet confirmed on Wednesday at the end of a four-day business mission in the UK that he had found “very good returns from entrepreneurs, as well as connections and business opportunities that will materialize in a very short time”.
Bordet stressed that “the potential of Entre Rios is very large in terms of production” and stressed that “we had the opportunity to tell the food business about our products, especially sweet citrus, honey, berries, pecans and other regional economies, as well as the large value chains that our province has, such as Poultry meat and rice.
“Entre Ríos currently exports to 160 countries in the world and we want it to be more, because that will give greater opportunities for production that provides the most job opportunities,” said the president of the province, and thanked “the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy in England, and the Federal Council To invest, which allowed us to get here.”
The trade mission led by Burdett ended in London, with a meeting with the Prime Minister’s Trade Representative for Latin America and Argentina, Marc Menezes, and Baroness Gloria Huber, Member of the House of Lords.
The tour of the governor of Mesopotamia began last Saturday, and among his activities was a meeting he held with the President and Vice President of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce, Bandar Rida and Abdul Salam Al-Idrisi, who are interested in providing approved halal meat.
In addition, he met with the CEO of Fresh Produce Consortium, Nigel Jenny, “who has shown an interest in trading fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers and agricultural technology,” official sources said.
He also spoke on his tour of the province’s exportable offer in front of businessmen, chambers of commerce, importers and distributors, at the event “Business Opportunities in the Food Sector” organized jointly by the Argentine Embassy and the Argentine-British Chamber of Commerce (BACC).
The President traveled from Entre Ríos accompanied by the Regional Minister of Production and Tourism, Juan José Paillo; and Executive Director of the Citrus Export Chamber of Northeast Argentina, Santiago Cabrarolo.
