A team of researchers, professors and students from Guantanamo University of Medical Sciences Two papers will be presented at the 8th National Workshop on Scientific Publishing in Health Sciences (PubliCIENT 2022), an event that takes place approximately from March 21 to April 1.

The first, titled Science, Technology and Innovation Approach to Research Management and Data, and the second, Transparency in Research Data Dissemination, will be presented by science dachas Danai Ramos Dohart, Fidel Robinson Gay, Dr Yamila Elías Oquendo and medical students Denisse Hinojosa Ramos and Aylin de la Caridad Durruthy Elias.

The event, which targets all professionals and organizations associated with scientific publishing and scientific communication, will be organized and sponsored by the National Center for Medical Science Information and the National Council of Health Scientific Societies, and will be attended by international speakers.

There will also be a student team comprising students from medical universities in the country, who will talk about managing editorial science journals in health sciences.

The workshop will address the transparency and credibility of science through editorial management, through the following thematic themes: open initiatives in peer review, use of CC licenses in copyright, authorship and conflict of interest, transparency of research data, and misconduct in science publishing.

The works will be presented in the form of a conference, a panel, free themes and a poster (poster) and will be shared in two virtual spaces: the video conference room and the event website.
