The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that activities were carried out on Sunday in various cities around the world in the framework of the International Day against the US embargo against Cuba.

Friends of Solidarity, Cubans Residing Abroad, and Cuban aid workers have implemented initiatives in Belize, Finland and Italy, according to a memo from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The League of France, Cuba, today demanded the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States on the island, a policy it described as genocide.

The Sri Lankan-Cuban Friendship Society will do an act of solidarity by placing a statue of the national hero of the Caribbean island, Jose Marti, in Colombo’s busy Victoria Park, the Sunday Observer reported today.
