The Fidel Castro Ruz Center will begin a program of special activities on Thursday to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The day included in the project Along Fidel’s pathIt will start with the music, games, laughter and joy that Calburoto Kids radiates in each of its shows, Prensa Latina reports.
Several spaces will also be provided to enjoy traditional games under the guidance of university sports students and professors.
Likewise, the children’s group La Colmenita, which will perform the play Por Fidel, is scheduled to perform, as informed by the center’s head of promotion and cultural communication, Anisledi Baez.
On the other hand, an exhibition of graphic humor and cartoons from the Palante and Dedeté publications will be inaugurated in the Cinco Palmas room.
This month the facility is hosting a comics workshop targeting children, teens and young adults.
In addition, during this holiday season, it offers other workshops in crafts, theater, photography, chess and museum science for children of all ages.
The Fidel Castro Ruz Center, which opened on November 25, 2021, offers numerous guided tours for national and foreign visitors, and often hosts book presentations, workshops, and conferences.
Many visitors interested in getting closer and learning more about Fidel Castro Ruz (August 13, 1926 – November 25, 2016) come to the place located in Vedado, the central city of this capital.
