Seville, July 23 (EFE). Facundo Rutolo has become the third Argentine player to arrive as a rugby science booster in Seville for next season in the Division of Honor, after signing Guillermo ‘Guillo’ Mateu and Axel Papa, from VRAC Quesos Entrepinares, apart from renewing compatriot Juanchi Pérez.
Science reported that Ratolo is 31 years old, 1.70 meters tall and weighs 82 kilograms, and comes from Géant Rugby, in which he played the past two seasons and was his team’s top scorer in the Honors B division, although in Spain he also participated in two more in the French Lyceum.
He began his career at Villa Gesell, from which he moved to the commercial rugby club of Mar del Plata, also in Argentina, and developed in the half position and opening positions, his new club describes him as a “quick, well-positioned player” and with “reading the game”, in addition to “effectiveness in Amusement park shooting.
Seville rugby coach, Manuel Mazo, stated that Ratolo “is a player with great intensity, great intervention, good footing, consistent and can cover many positions, from 9 to 12”, and he knows “a long time. Several years”, when he reached French school, and thought he would “surprise them”. EFE
