With a total of 526 alumni, Faculty No. 2 of the University of Medical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba celebrated the centenary of Feu’s graduation at the Teatro Heredia Cultural Complex.

The results of 42 gold titles reflect the quality of training of new health professionals. The Foundation’s inclusive general student, Dr. Monica de la Caridad Arencibia Alvarez, in the speech on behalf of her classmates, expressed her gratitude to family members and teachers; He highlighted the dedication and effort of six years, coinciding at one point with the difficult experiences of Covid-19, when health workers were in the red zone to save lives inside and outside the country.

Those who are now doctors attend there, in isolation centers, for statistical processing, research and sampling, showing their humanity and unconditionalness towards patients.

The graduation came as part of celebrations of the University Students’ Union (Feu) centenary, the organization’s X conference, and six decades since the beginning of medical teaching.
