Everything But Girl makes their best UK record with ‘Fuse’

The race for UK No. 1 album of the week is between Enter Shikari and Everything But the Girl. With Record Store Day in between, Shikari finally has a No. 1 hit, The 1975 with No. 2 with a live show, and Everything But the Girl with No. 3 with ‘Fuse’.

The duo of Tracy Thorne and Ben Watts, who returned with a new album after a 24-year absence, achieved with ‘Views’ the best charts of their career in the UK in terms of albums, surpassing the top 4 of ‘Walking Wound’, his masterpiece.

Sales of “Fuse” in the UK are estimated at around 12,000 copies sold (11,977). They are a few thousand fewer than those released by The 1975 with “Live with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra” (12716) and by Enter Shikari with “Kiss to the Whole World” (13513). In fourth place was Taylor Swift with “Folklore: Long Studio Sessions at the Pond” (11,132) and in fifth place was The Weeknd with his group “Highlights” (8,023).

What is the best historical data on everything but the girl in the islands? Aside from Walking Wounded, the duo took “Love Not Money” to debut at No. 10, The Language of Love also to No. 10 and Home Movies to No. 5. ‘Fuse’ was his last studio album, and he was 16 .

Perhaps the good news about Fuse encouraged all but the girl to continue their path back into music. Taking to Instagram, Thorn and Watts celebrated the album’s 3 biggest hits and “drink a toast to the future.” We remind you of our encounter with them.
