Netflix puts its own role in the classic Roald Dahl movie, and now they have added Emma Thompson in the ‘Matilda’ reboot which in addition to being a musical version, which will be directed by Matthew Warchus, known for his work on ‘Pride’.

The original book focuses on a young girl named Matilda, who uses her power to deal with the various abusive adults in her life to protect her and her friends.
The fact that these abusive adults include his terrible parents and a ruthless principal at his school makes things difficult, but he never deters, and with the help of a nice teacher and his friends eventually they will win.
