As is well known, Italy has prestigious universities and a wide range of study programmes, from undergraduate to PhD.
You have just over a month to apply this time. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is offering scholarships in favor of foreign citizens and Italian citizens residing abroad for the academic year 2023-24.
They explained from the government that the aim of these scholarships is “to promote international cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields, to promote the Italian language and Italian culture and to support the economic system of that country in the world.
Scholarships for students in Italy
They add that scholarships are awarded for the completion of coursework and research/internship programs at public or legally recognized Italian educational institutions.

We can expect that some scholarships for master’s courses are on offer, which are awarded for a study period of 6 (six) or 9 (nine) months. Admission to the first year of a master’s course in Italy requires completion of a bachelor’s degree in the country of origin. Admission into the second year is granted to applicants who can demonstrate satisfactory academic progress in the first year examinations.
There are also scholarships for Higher Education Courses in Arts, Music and Dance (AFAM), which are awarded for a study period of 6 (six) or 9 (nine) months. For admission to the Italian AFAM Institute, applicants must meet the entry requirements and academic qualifications set by the relevant art center.
