Dazn partners with YouTube to accelerate NFL Game Pass sales in the UK and Germany

Dazn partners with YouTube to promote the NFL in Europe. The streaming platform has reached an agreement that YouTube will broadcast its NFL channel among the so-called prime-time channels, which are given more importance on its portal. The financial terms of the agreement are unknown.

Dazn will launch in the UK and Germany, the only two European countries where the NFL plays regular season games. Dazn has reached a ten-year agreement with the NFL for international OTT distribution this year. The new YouTube channel will allow fans to subscribe and access some NFL Game Pass and other league-related content.

Shai Segev, CEO of Dazn, said: “The global agreement with YouTube underscores our commitment to making premium sports accessible to fans. The launch in the UK and Germany demonstrates the quality of the content.”

Richard Lewis, YouTube Sponsorship Manager UK & Ireland, said: “Launching the NFL globally on YouTube is a huge achievement for our outstanding sports team. Our mission is to grow our global fan base and add value for our partners. Create a community of subscribers and turn every touch and highlight into an unforgettable experience. ”
