Havana, May 27 (ACN) José Ángel Portal Miranda, Minister of Public Health, leads the Cuban delegation participating today in the 77th World Health Assembly, in Geneva, Switzerland.
Under the slogan “All for Health, Health for All,” attending countries will exchange experiences that help strengthen health systems.
In the context of the event, Portal Miranda exchanged with Abdulla Khalil, Minister of Health of the Maldives, aspects related to Cuban medical cooperation in that country and the desire to continue expanding it in areas such as primary care, health organization and human resources. an exercise.
The Cuban Minister, along with Algerian Health Minister Abdelhak Sahi, expressed his intention to continue strengthening relations and the desire to expand areas of cooperation for the benefit of the two peoples.
The Cuban Minister also met with Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, Qatari Minister of Health, who expressed her gratitude and satisfaction with the work being done by our collaborators in her country.
