Cuba congratulates Vietnam on the 77th anniversary of its independence

Through his Twitter account, the head of the Cuban government noted the historical relations of cooperation that unite both countries and that have been strengthened today.

“Our warm congratulations to the brotherly Vietnamese people on the 77th anniversary of their independence. The historical relations between our two countries are marked by a special friendship and the close relationship that existed between the two historical leaders Fidel and Ho Chi Minh,” he said. .


Roberto Morales Ojeda, Organization Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, also celebrated the date and thanked the Asian nation for its solidarity with the government and people of Cuba.

“On the seventy-seventh anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, we congratulate that sister nation and thank you for your solidarity. #Cuba. #Cuba_Nostasula,” he said on the same social network.

On December 2, 1960, Cuba became the first Latin American country to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam, during which intimate relations of friendship and cooperation were maintained.
