Civil Force Encourages Graduates of Security Sciences University

Monterey.- The new civil force stated that for the first time, the nominal group will consist of graduates of the University of Security Sciences.

The multidisciplinary team will consist of three sub-inspectors and one inspector, who have combined their proven track record of serving and protecting the citizens of Monterrey over 13 years of police work, and most are first-generation graduates of the UCS police career.

Among the tasks and activities that this Chief of Staff will carry out are personnel management, operational logistics, advice, supervision, and sustaining compliance with orders; and building La Paz in the state.

This historic event, as the agency pointed out, seeks to promote and encourage officers who decide to become professionals within the institution, and hope to continue developing highly trained and qualified talents in the aforementioned educational unit.

What is UCS?

It is a decentralized public body attached to the General Administration of the State of Nuevo León, with its own legal personality and assets.

The UCS is responsible for the professionalization of the institutions that make up the comprehensive public security system of the State of Nuevo León. These institutions are the following:

  • Police institutions
  • Justice Procurement Institutions
  • Prison system institutions
  • Agencies responsible for the public security of the state; civil and municipal forces (8 extensions)

And a crew of:

  • Attorney General of the State of Nuevo Leon,
  • Public Defense Institute

It also offers courses for agencies such as:

  • civil defense
  • Fire Department and
  • Private Security

The vision of this educational unit specializing in issues related to public security is to position itself as the best institution in training, modernization, professional qualification and high specialization of employees integrated into the state system, which will allow for the qualitative and permanent improvement of public security service provided to citizens.
