The Government authorized the visit of the Secretary of State, Anna Gervasi, to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on loan; The Federal Republic of Germany; Vatican City; And to the Italian Republic.

This measure was made official by Supreme Resolution No. 150-2023-PCM published in the Legal Standards Bulletin of the Official Gazette El Peruano.

According to the agency, the Chancellor’s trip to the cities of London (United Kingdom), Stuttgart and Berlin (Germany), the Vatican City (Holy See), and the city of Rome (Italy) is permitted in the period from October 8 to 15, 2023. .

In this sense, the Minister of Production, Ana María Choquehuanca, is in charge of the Office of Foreign Relations.

In the United Kingdom, where he will be on October 10-11, he has scheduled meetings with the Foreign Secretary; With the Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Peru in the British Parliament; In addition to a thesis entitled “Strategic Investment Opportunities in Peru.”

Likewise, he will hold a meeting with officials from the Chatham House think tank and the London School of Economics and will participate in commemorative activities that will be held within the framework of 200 years of diplomatic relations between Peru and Britain.

Later, from October 12 to 13, he will be in Germany where he will give a presentation in the opening segment within the framework of the event called “Latin America Day”, organized by the Latin American Business Association (LAV) and will be accompanied by the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte, in her participation as guest of honor. In the aforementioned event.

He will then head to Berlin, accompanied by the President, who will hold a meeting with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Meanwhile, on October 14, the Head of State will accompany him to Vatican City, Holy See, where he will pay an official visit, through a private meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis and a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Then, in Rome (Italy), a meeting was held with the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
