Celebrity Apex redefines cruising with the innovative Edge Series design from Celebrity Cruises in the UK

Celebrity Cruises®’s iconic ship, Celebrity Apex®, departs Southampton today, making waves as the inaugural ship of the innovative UK-based Edge® series.

Kicking off its European season from Southampton, Celebrity Apex will embark on an eight-night cruise through the stunning Norwegian fjords. This leisure cruise will explore beloved destinations such as Bruges, Belgium, nicknamed the “Venice of the North,” where travelers can stroll along picturesque canals and charming cobblestone streets; Geiranger, Norway, home to the stunning Geiranger Fjord with its waterfalls and majestic snow-capped mountains; and Kristiansand, Norway, known as the “Summer City” for its sandy beaches, upscale shopping malls and vibrant cultural scene.

As the second ship in the revolutionary Edge series, Celebrity Apex redefines the cruising experience with its innovative exterior design and distinctive onboard spaces. Celebrity Apex sets new standards in luxury, offering fine dining experiences, state-of-the-art spa and wellness facilities and high-energy entertainment that rivals the best shows on Earth.

Covering stunning destinations from Northern Europe to the Canary Islands, the premium cruise line’s next generation ship will sail from Southampton from May to October 2024. During the summer season, passengers can choose from a variety of exciting voyages from four to 13 nights. , including a 12-night Norwegian Fjords and Arctic Circle cruise, giving guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the stunning natural beauty of the region. Additionally, guests can enjoy an expanded choice of destinations from Southampton, with trips including the picturesque island of Ibiza, where they can enjoy delicious local cuisine, party at lively beach clubs and soak up the Mediterranean sunshine.

Celebrity Apex stands out, showcasing the contemporary design elements that define the ships of the Celebrity’s Edge series. Highlights include the multi-purpose venue “The Magic Carpet®”, which offers stunning views and dining experiences above the sea; The Retreat®, featuring the private Luminae restaurant, lounge area and solarium exclusive to its guests; Expanded Infinity Terrace Rooms; Quiet holidays in the roof garden; and two-storey luxury Edge Villas, each with its own private balcony and plunge pool.

With 29 different restaurants, bars and lounges on board, Celebrity Apex offers a diverse culinary journey, with globally inspired menus. From Fine Cut Steakhouse to Raw on 5 and Eden, guests can sample a variety of delicious cuisines in a fine dining experience.

Entertainment options abound at Celebrity Apex, including three exclusive shows at The Theater. Guests can enjoy the nostalgic Rockumentary shows, the inspiring Tree of Life ride, exciting violin pop music and Crystallize’s aerial acrobatics. The entertainment continues with intimate cabaret shows at The Club and a variety of themed experiences and activities throughout the ship.
