Morelia, Michigan, December 3, 2023.- Students from the Michoacan State College of Scientific and Technological Studies (Cecytem), Borondero Campus, have received two national accreditations after participating in the second edition of the Michoacan Science and Engineering Fair ( Femici ) 2023, organized by the Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (ICTI). ), and the Technological Institute of Postgraduate Studies in Zamora (ITESZ).

Students Viridiana López Ledesma and Andrea Rodríguez Maciel presented the prototype of casuarani bucuri, an agglomeration of crushed seeds of casuarina pine and automotive resin that could allow it to be used as a wood substitute and thus avoid logging of trees. .
