Caixa Capital Risc leads a 5.5 million Series A round in startup Zinklar

BARCELONA, July 13 (European press) –

Caixa Capital Risc led a €5.5 million Series A round in start-up Zinklar with new investors such as Easo Ventures, Full Global Investments and CDTI Innvierte.

UK-based Beacon Capital has also joined the round, and the investment will enable Zinklar to strengthen its platform as well as attract talent for expansion, Criteria Caixa said in a statement on Wednesday.

Caixa Capital Risc was the lead investor in the round with a €1.7 million ticket, which follows its investment in 2017, helping Zinklar accelerate its expansion, strengthen its business strategy, and transform its product.

An important part of this ticket comes from Criteria Venture Tech, Caixa Capital Risc’s new investment fund, which seeks to invest in the most disruptive technology companies in the B2B marketplace to improve efficiency and business performance.

The Criteria Venture Tech Fund, which focuses on Spanish and Portuguese companies, offers initial inflows from €500,000 to €2 million with the potential to continue up to €5 million.

Zinklar previously raised a total of €2.1 million in pre-incorporation, pre-incorporation and pre-Series A bridge financing from Caixa Capital Risc, Inveready and Sabadell VC.
