BUAP Faculty of Medicine signs a cooperation agreement with the National Academy of Medicine, Puebla Branch

With the aim of strengthening academic and scientific ties, the Faculty of Medicine of BUAP and the National Academy of Medicine, Puebla Branch, a scientific institution dedicated to promoting the study, teaching and research in the field of Mexican medicine, with a high academic level, have signed a cooperation agreement.

One of the objectives of this agreement is to hold periodic academic courses to disseminate health-related topics. As well as promoting the activities of the National Academy of Medicine among the university community of the College of Medicine.

The protocol ceremony was attended by Luis Guillermo Vásquez de Lara Cisneros, Director of the Faculty of Medicine, who pointed out that this agreement opens the possibility of defining new goals in the future, allowing the strengthening of academic and scientific cooperation for the benefit of the university. Both institutions. He also considered this agreement to be of utmost importance because of the impact it could have among faculty members and the student community.

Vázquez de Lara Cisneros added: “This important event is the result of long planning and cooperation. Thanks to the dedication of the Board of Directors of the National Academy of Medicine, currently represented by Dr. Gerardo Germán Fajardo Dulce, this agreement was signed.

He also praised the contributions of medical school teachers Claudia Mendoza Pinto – also coordinator of the Puebla Chapter of the National Academy of Medicine – and Mario García Carrasco.

In addition to the Director of the Faculty of Medicine, Luis Guillermo Vásquez de Lara Cisneros, and the above-mentioned teachers, the protocol ceremony was attended by Roberto Guillermo Calva Rodríguez, representative of the National Academy of Medicine, Puebla Chapter.
