Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Sunday that if Ukrainian forces violated his country’s borders, his government’s response would be immediate.
During the interview he conducted with the program Sunday’s Big News From the TV channel RussiaLukashenko discussed measures to ensure the security of Belarus and Russia, the situation in Ukraine and ways to resolve the conflict.
He also referred to the behaviour of Western neighbours and the situation on the border.
Regarding the protection of the state borders, the Belarusian leader stated that there are no “red lines” and that the response will be immediate.
Regarding the prospects for integration between Belarus and Russia, Lukashenko declared that relations with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin are a good example of how to build integration relations between Minsk and Moscow.
Alexander Lukashenko has stressed that Russia will liberate the Kursk region from the Ukrainian army at any cost, and warned that escalation of the conflict could lead to the destruction of Ukraine as a state.
