Asobal sells its naming rights to Plenitude through 2025

Asobal and Plénitude come to an agreement. The Federation of Spanish Handball Clubs (Aosbal) and Plenitude, an energy company owned by Eni, have reached finally Sponsorship agreement until 2024-2025. The value of the agreement is 1.8 million euros.

In addition, Plenitude will give its name to all competitions organized by AsobalThe League, the ASOpal Cup and the Mini Cup. In fact, Plenitude promotes several local, regional and national sports projects, such as the recent Vuelta a España 2022.

Through this agreement, Asobal achieves the goal of being associated with an important international brand with more than ten million customers in Europe located in Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Slovenia, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Norway, the United States, Kazakhstan and Australia.

In addition to the name change, the agreement reached between Plenitude and Spain’s top men’s handball category includes a new logo design for the league. The new design perfectly combines the two entities, harmonizing typography and colors that reflect the sustainable nature of Plenitude and preserve the identity of Asobal. This new logo represents the new era facing the competition with pride, optimism and new energy, an attitude that fits perfectly with a brand like Plenitude.

This sponsorship was signed between the President of the ASObal League, Servando Revuelta, and the General Manager of the Plenitude, Andrea Quarta, in a law made at the Supreme Council of Sports, and ratified by the Secretary of State for Sports, José Manuel Franck. .

All this, with the aim of becoming the first professional league without a carbon footprint in Spain.
