Appointment of a new CEO for the Maldives

Malé, November 17 (Prensa Latina) – After assuming office today, Mohamed Moiso was appointed by his government as President of the Maldives in a ceremony held here with great popular participation and the presence of heads of state and dozens of foreign delegations.

The newspapers pointed out that the new executive authority, which was sworn in today, Friday, before the President of the Supreme Court, Ahmed Moatasem Adnan, has new numbers.

Muhammad Shafiq, Musa Zamir and Ali Ahsan were appointed to the positions of Ministers of Finance, Foreign Affairs, Interior, Security and Technology, respectively. During his tenure as Minister of Defense; Housing, Land and Urban Development; Construction and infrastructure are Ghassan Mamoun, Ali Haider and Abdullah Muttalib.

The areas of economic development, trade, health, tourism, education and sports are headed by Mohammed Saeed, Abdullah Khalil, Ibrahim Faisal, Ismail Shafieu and Abdullah Rafi.

Ahmed Awsham, Attorney General. Public Works Chief Adam Sharif Omar; Higher Education Maryam Maria; Islamic Affairs Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed; Youth Empowerment and Information, Ibrahim Waheed; Agriculture, Aisha Rumaila; In the transportation and aviation sector, Muhammad Amin and Aisha Shiham.

As Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy, Ibrahim Tauriq; For Fisheries and Ocean Resources, Ahmed Shyam, Language, Culture and Davidhi, New Section, Adam Naseer Ibrahim.
