A fan of the upcoming The Batman movie is planning to skip the birth of his son so he can watch the DC movie on opening day.
This comes after his wife took to Reddit to complain about her husband’s actions.
“My husband (25F) and I (28M) are expecting a baby. You know, a new Batman movie is coming out in early March. My husband is a big fan of this kind of thing and wants to see him on opening day and she wrote in a post: “The problem is that our due date is Exactly that day.
“He says it’s important to watch the movie on day one because of spoilers and even if I end up having the baby that day while watching the movie, worst case scenario I’m going to be a few hours late and that’s not a big deal,” she continued. “He says I’m irrational and emotional about the pregnancy. I’m upset because I feel so out of priority because of him.”
Batman marks the debut of Robert Pattinson as Caped Crusader, alongside Paul Dano as The Riddler, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Butler Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as Penguin, and Jeffrey Wright as Police Chief Gotham City Officer James Gordon.
The synopsis reads: “After two years of stalking the streets like Batman, striking fear into the hearts of criminals, Bruce Wayne is driven deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With a few reliable allies—Alfred Pennyworth, Lieutenant James Gordon—among the city’s corrupt network of High-ranking officials and dignitaries, the Lone Ranger has proven himself as the only embodiment of vengeance among his countrymen. ”
Meanwhile, the tune of the new movie was shown last month.
The Batman movie will open in UK cinemas on March 4.
