We'll have to wait a few weeks to find out who's behind the 12 costumes, but aside from Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora, and Jonathan Ross, we have some good guesses.
Taking the stage this year are Owl, Rat, Cricket and Piranha, as well as Weather, Bubble T, Air Fryer, Chicken Caesar, Dippy Egg, Eiffel Tower, Maypole and Bigfoot, all hoping to follow in the footsteps of 2023 champion Charlie. Simpson, who was dressed as a unicorn, and Ainsley Harriott, who was crowned winner of the Partridge (In a Pear Tree) Christmas special.
The famous faces that have already appeared are below and we'll keep you updated as the ITV series progresses…
Weather – Dionne Warwick
Jonathan, guest judges Charlie and Davina guessed the star correctly and she was the first to leave the competition.
Dion told the group that it was impossible to hide her voice and they agreed that her distinctive beautiful tones were easy to spot.
He then sang “I Can See Clearly Now” again, this time without the mask.
This is not the first time Dion, 83, has ventured into the world of The Masked Singer. In 2020, he participated in the American version as a mouse and finished fourth.
In the show tip, Weather said: “Sun, wind and rain are major parts of my heart, but one of the panelists has seen me before.”
Other allusions include references to the singer being strong and weathering the storm, as well as nods to the blues.
But in fact, it was his voice that abandoned him.
The Masked Singer airs every Saturday at 7pm on ITV1.
