UPLA Editorial.- This event was organized by the Spanish Federation of Sociology in collaboration with the Sociology Department of UPO, with the aim of collecting and disseminating methodological innovations produced by male and female sociologists, as well as professionals, technicians and technicians from related disciplines.

#Sociology_from_the_Digital_Society was the slogan of this edition, which is why priority was given to those communications that benefit from digital innovations, whether in collecting, filtering or analyzing information.

The first message that Aranjuez presented was called “Gender Representation on Boards of Directors of Public Companies in the Valparaíso Region (Conducted in collaboration with UPLA graduate sociologist, Paloma Diaz Tramulau), and presented a report on the main findings of the investigation into women’s participation in accordance with Law No. 21356 (which determines gender representation on the boards of directors of public and state-owned companies).
