The film tells the story of the Wellesley family, an aristocratic family unable to save their ancestral estate due to debt. As they struggle to find a solution, a series of disturbing apparitions begin to haunt them, forcing the Wellesleys to confront the profound injustices they and other landowners have committed, both past and present.
