Netflix Integrates UK Trauma Doctors Into Documentary Series Co-Producer ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ The Garden

ExclusiveNetflix has become a co-producer of: Squid Game: Challenge To secure access to the UK’s elite emergency doctors for a documentary series.

Under temporary title Very importantThe Garden is being produced as a six-part series featuring the best paramedics, doctors, nurses and surgeons from across London.

Netflix plans to air the series in 2025. The Garden follows the stories of patients brought back from the brink of disaster through the eyes of those administering life-saving treatment.

In an interview with Deadline in January, The Garden CEO John Hay spoke about the ITV Studios-backed company’s expanding horizons. “We’re evolving from being a company that’s known for its national, fixed-platform shows to being a company that still has fixed-platform at its heart, but takes something we’ve learned from that and applies it to a broader range of genres,” he said.

The park was co-produced. Squid Game: Challenge With Studio Lambert. The live-action adaptation of the hit drama won a BAFTA earlier this year and has been renewed for a second season.
