Vietnam expects wide participation in the second defense exhibition

So far, more than 40 companies and units from 19 countries and regions have confirmed their presence at the exhibition scheduled from August 19 to 22 at Hanoi's Gia Lam Airport in which the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People of Vietnam Army and the 35th National Defense Day will be celebrated.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the entities that previously announced their participation in the exhibition will come from India, the United States, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, France, Turkey, Sweden, Singapore, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, Taiwan (China) and Bulgaria.

In addition, 120 delegations from 50 countries are scheduled to be invited, as well as defense ministers from 35 countries, said Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnamese People's Army and head of the organizing committee, Phuong Si Tan.

He said that this event will serve the country's defense companies to introduce their products, improve their competitiveness and accelerate their participation in the global supply chain, and will contribute to confirming Vietnam as a responsible and reliable friend and partner to the international community. .
