Minh Chinh reiterates that stable relations with China are a priority for Vietnam

The Prime Minister affirmed his country's position during his meeting with Chinese Minister of Justice He Rong, and asked him to enhance cooperation and mutual support with his Vietnamese counterpart until relations in this field reach the level of bilateral relations.

In this sense, Minh Chinh called for actively moving forward with the Memorandum of Understanding on existing cooperation and promoting more practical cooperation with greater political trust and greater exchange of experiences.

The Prime Minister proposed, as reported by the VNA news agency, that cooperation should focus on building and perfecting the state and its rule of law laws, on improving the partnership to train high-quality human resources, and on judicial assistance in the field of combating terrorism. This is in line with the bilateral and multilateral treaties signed between the two countries.

He also proposed improving judicial cooperation between localities in the two countries, especially those on the border, and praised the preparation for the first inter-provincial judicial conference along the common border, which will be held in China in 2025.

For her part, Chinese Minister of Justice He Rong presented the results of her work sessions with Vietnamese ministries, sectors and agencies, especially the results of the talks with her counterpart Le Thanh Luong, and committed to enhancing cooperation activities in a more practical and effective way.
