Measuring people’s intelligence has been a tireless concern of psychology. In fact, measuring mental abilities and functions has its own specialty: psychometrics.
It was from there that one of the concepts that fascinated dedicated professionals in the field was born: IQ, also called intelligence quotient (IQ, or IQ, for its acronym in English).
