University students will have the opportunity to participate in five-week research residencies at the 26th edition of the Central Region Science Summer (VCRC), which will be held in-person, virtual or hybrid between June 1 and July 31, 2024. The program, coordinated by an inter-institutional committee , to promote technological research and development in higher education institutions in the central region of the country.
The goal is to enhance student mobility through research residencies, as well as to motivate and prepare students to integrate the methodologies, tools and skills necessary for research in science, technology and innovation into their academic training. Researchers from affiliated institutions from the states of Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Queretaro, San Luis Potosi, and Zacatecas can participate.
Selected students will collaborate in projects supervised by researchers in fields such as agricultural sciences, health sciences, natural and exact sciences, social sciences, education, humanities and arts, engineering and technology, and economic and management sciences.
Registration for the program will take place electronically from April 15 to May 12, 2024, through the website www.veranoregional.org. The results of the selection of participants will be published starting from May 28, 2024 on the same website.
