Here the reader comes to look for books that are no longer in the display cabinets and wants to re-read them or gift them to a friend, as Octavio Revano, one of the oldest exhibitors, explained to Prensa Latina.

He added that collectors are also interested in first editions signed by authors such as Pablo Neruda, Vicente Huedobro or Jorge Luis Borges.

Octavio is the son of the famous writer, playwright and bookseller Luis Revano (1932-2016), one of the founders of this gallery, along with the rector of the Mayor University.

This year the exhibition honors writer Estela Socias Muñoz, author of the children's series Trabolandia: Land of Rag Dolls; and Gloria Alegria Ramirez, author of several children's books.

There is also an exhibition of works by Oreste Plath, Nicanor Parra, Luis Revano, Teresa Calderón, and National Literature Prize winner, Mapuche writer Elícora Chihuaylav.

In Pavilion No. 17, Juan Adrianazola displays mainly old Chilean surnames.

Regarding the visitors to the exhibition, he expressed that they have a captive audience from the years in which it was held, but there are also young people and people from abroad.

Meanwhile, Yenni Mercado, who has been in the business for more than 15 years, highlighted the variety of prices, some of which are very affordable for visitors.
