He pointed out that during that period the number of specialized consultations increased from 278,000 to 407,000, i.e. an increase of 46 percent in the 23 states where the IMSS-Wellness system is applied. While family medicine consultations increased from 210,000 to 280,000, an increase of 33 percent.

He pointed out that in the case of surgical operations, the number increased from 53,000 to 60,000, an increase of 12 percent. The number of births increased from 21,402 to 25,682 compared between the two periods in the group of 23 states in which the new system operates.

At the same time, progress has been made in the “rescue” of the Institute for Security and Social Services for State Employees (ISSSTE), issued by the López Obrador administration.
