Sanxenxo (Pontevedra), September 29 (EFE).- Diego Lopez’s “Mirvac” is the first leader of the ORC 0-3 class in the eighth Juan Carlos I Regatta after signing second place and first place in the two races contested on Friday in the Ria de Pontevedra.

In the ORC 4 category, for its part, “Unus” by Luis García dominated, with two partial victories that allowed it to add two points, three points less than “Travesío” by Beatriz Abalo, which took third and second place, respectively.

In this category, the “Squid II” of Náutico de Portonovo, driven by Francisco Lusquinhos, completed the provisional podium.

With northwesterly wind conditions ranging from eight to ten knots in the early afternoon to nearly fifteen knots recorded in the ORC field in the second race, the race committee was able to complete the planned testing programme. And two more for 6 metres.

The first leader of the 6m Classic category is “Erica”, led by Violeta Álvarez under the Náutico de Sanxenxo (RCNS) collar, who has just won the silver medal at the Mudo Championship with Stella in the 6m Open category.
