The College of Physical Sciences and Mathematics at the UA de C calls for the State Water-Powered Rocket Competition


Next October 20, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at the baseball field of the Camporedondo Unit of the Autonomous University of Coahuila (UA de C), in Saltillo, the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of this educational complex will hold the 4th State Water-Powered Rocket Competition.

In this regard, Elsa Edith Rivera Rosales, member of the organizing committee of this competition, reported that the invitation to participate is open to students from Coahuila at the primary, secondary and high school levels, who will be able to compete with their prototype individually or in teams of up to two members.

The academic also explained that the contestants must bring the necessary materials and mechanism to be able to propel their rocket using water, and the basic materials are a 2-liter plastic bottle, a shuttle or base, an air pump, and electrical extensions in case.
