he US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam of the season, is still in its early stage. The Flushing Meadows complex will start the main draw on August 28th to welcome the world’s best batters but many more want to join.

Marco Trongelletti (228) from Santiago lost to Belgian Gautier Onclean (205), who won 6-3, 6-4, while Mariano Navone (181) fell 6-1, 6-2 with Lucas Klein (156) from Slovakia.
On Monday, Federico Correa (92), Facundo Bagnes (136), Francisco Comisania (161) and Thiago Tirante (152) won.
Players will have to draw three rounds of qualifying to enter the 128-player roster that will compete at Flushing Meadows, where approximately $65 million in prize money will be distributed. Carlos Alcaraz is the defending champion in the men’s category while Iga Swatic is defending the title in the women’s category.
