The measures envisaged in this project also include the establishment of a temporary deposit for the tram units that will be circulated on the new line in the Nazareth neighborhood. The minister defended that the proposed expansion of Line 10 to connect this new line to the current tram network “is necessary so that this deposit is temporary as planned, and its use can be stopped as soon as possible.”

The rest of the contracts, such as electricity, substation installation, road connections between the Alakant station and Nazareth, signals, communications and security, have already been awarded, and the first installation work has begun.
