In the case of Colombia, citizens who present only their passport or, in some cases, only show their identity document, the citizenship card, can enter and stay for up to a year in several countries around the world, including 30 countries from Europe.

How do you get a passport?
If the person interested in obtaining the passport is located in Colombia, at present the process of obtaining this document is very simple. First, you need to book a virtual appointment on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where you must enter your personal data.
Interviews are usually set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the next day, at the time and place chosen by each person during registration, which has its own code.

Passport costs
In the state of the republic, the value of an ordinary passport is $121,483 + $64,000 (stamp tax), executive passport: $216,521 + $64,000 (stamp tax) and an emergency passport: $170,048 (tax free).
For people who live outside of Bogota, the cost of a regular passport is $185,463, an executive one is $280,521, and an emergency is $170,048. These prices do not include departmental discounts, so the citizen can review them on the website of the district government in which they will carry out this procedure.
